I think this is just perfect a description, it tells us about what we need to know – Marianne Fassler evoked a dream summer holiday on a beautiful African coast with a mélange of clashing prints and, at times, panels of light, transparent fabric. The accessories – earrings and shoes – and the shredded hems of some of her dresses and skirts point to a Zulu inspiration, but her collection is far more diverse than this might suggest – Actually she was sitting in the front row right next to her husband, at the end of the show she joined the models to dance whiles on the runway after the final work followed through.
