The MVAs19 saw the three Ghanaian musical Gods rock the stage. That happened to be Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy. However, only one claimed the said status and that was Stonebwoy with ‘STONEGOD’ printed loud and clear on the back of his leather jacket.
The designer is none other than Eric Grundberry, a digital fashion illustrator and teacher at Dreams College of Creative Arts, Abrantie College and Maureen Signature’s Institute of Fashion. He uses fashion to shape perspectives, with focus on the future of design and what this means for Africa in the international fashion market.
The jacket of which he designed for Stonebwoy embodied the essence of a 70 punk rockstar with metal chains attached, but most importantly, Eric brought it home with a touch of kente fabric to the cuffs ensuring the essence of Africa followed the dancehall super star where ever the images was posted.
