International pop chart singer Miley Cyrus decided to go African, and she is now all over the news. Miley Cyrus who has headlined many times for the type of clothes she wears, and in some cases the clothes she doesn’t wear, made an exciting change of plans to her wardrobe recently.
The singer was spotted rocking a red strappy suit by South African fashion brand Thebe Magugu and she was photographed in the outfit enjoying a flight on her private jet.
This is the first time the singer has been spotted in an African brand. The outfit stems from the designer’s menswear collection titled ‘DoubleThink’ which was showcased at the 2020 edition of the Pitti Uomo show.
Rocking Thebe Magugu With Pride
Although she made no mention of the brand, Thebe Magugu took the pleasure to share the images on their profile with the caption “Miley Cyrus (@mileycyrus) in the Red Strappy Suit from our first menswear collection – SS22 Doublethink.”
It does make one wonder if a renowned pop star is rocking south African fashion brands, as other renowned celebrities like Beyonce and more have done, why can’t the average African do so?
