Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 609 Popular Ghanaian based Nigerian journalist and marketer Adeyemi aka Yemmi Baba took to his instagram to address an issues most have talked about. His instagram post is seen below…. The DISGRACE of a pageantry like dat of @missuniversegh which will only embarrass Ghana and Africa. From day one we all knew dat @hildaakua was gonna win bcos she was part of the contestants from the USA. Apparently the organizers have achieved dia dubious, greedy, wicked goal – in Yoruba language we say, "oyé Olorun"! Miss Universe Ghana to me probably looks like a 'scam' which should thoroughly be investigated by the powers above else all our girls will be 'used' and 'disrespected'. Thank you. It is usually surrounding the case that the pageant has always selected a winner that isn’t based in Ghana. This makes it predictable that they will continue with this pattern. The difficult part of all this is that they still charge and collect money from ladies to enter the event. On behalf of FashionGHANA.com we can’t confirm any of the rumours or how genuine the pageant is, but it does become odd watch such a trend. Finally, out of the disgruntled crowd Yemi has spoken. The question is would this go further beyond his instagram post. However, I do recall the day FashionGHANA.com called out Miss Ghana for the horrible cheating that took place in 2012, unfortunately most journalists didn’t call the pageant out as they were paid partners. It seems Miss Universe Ghana might need to adopt the same tactic.
