Generally, Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. And A.I. art is any artwork created through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) programs such as text-to-image models and musical generators. A.I. has been the fuel behind the realistic monstrous unreal-real looks that have fulfilled our entertainment in movies over the decades. With the rise of social media and the developments of phones and computers, the creation of A.I. art is accessible to anyone today and Africans are making the most of it. We recently published a league of Caribbean super AI superheroes as seen below. He explores traditional illustration to digital fashion creations Kevin Afriye aka @Mr.Afriyie A few months ago FAIC Magazine, a monthly publication focused on technology, design, products, and services, launched AI Fashion Week. AI Fashion Week currently is a popular hashtag launched by FAIC Magazine. However, like all good ideas, in a short space and time, various AI Fashion Week pages have been created on various platforms. Mr.Afriyie from Ghana is one amazing talent that took it upon himself to curate his very own AI Fashion Week show of which was attended by his own virtual guests. His amazing skill set was not one of simply reconstructing runway visuals, but also pre-show social gatherings, backstage makeup, and dressing activities, as well as the seated audience. And then it was time for the main show. The theme of today’s shows, within the AI Fashion Week was Wearable Architecture/Structural fashion. And Mr Afriyie was nothing less than extremely impressive. See a few of the looks below. Mr Afriyie will also be participating in the other days and we would be proudly following the show and bringing it to you live on FashionGHANA.com.
