Ms Debbie Beeko Takes Us On A Padded Tee DIY Tutorial And It Is Incredible

by Onyeka Ben

Ghanaian style blogger Debbie Beeko, has been showing us how it is done with it comes to styling the basic of things to create magic and we have been learning and one thing is for sure we have seen a lot of improvement when it comes with the way we style our outfits. From her use of skirt and jackets by Nigerian designer Mai Atafo to create 3 separate style looks Deebie has come up with another style hack that we can say for a fact that most ladies had no idea of or think would ever work.

The padded Tee seems to be having a moment within the last quarter of this year but it is instructive to note that it is one style that was prominent from the 70s down to the 80s every stylish mother today in her 60s or 70s had a padded style rocked by them back in the days and so it is no surprise it has resurrected itself again after many years but this time with a more refined look and approach to the original padded style we used to know.

Style tip: The best way to pair it, in our opinion, is to tuck it into high-waisted trousers fitted or flair, your pick and accessories it with a pair of pointy-toe mules and a chunky chained necklace. Easy does it. If you’re going for a more formal and polished look, pair your padded shoulder muscle T-shirt with trousers. This will elevate your look and it’ll look more expensive, especially if you wear heels and gold jewellery.

Debbs Beeko just shared a cute DIY video teaching us how to make an on-trend ‘padded tee’ look on her YouTube channel.

On her Instagram she shared:

Hi loves, I turned an oversized men’s shirt into this cute sleeveless padded shirt dress. The tutorial is LIVE on my YouTube channel now. Link in my bio. 😘
