MUSIC VID: Sister Afia’s Rap Song Sparks A Funny Cat Fight Amongst Many Ghanaian Female Celebrities

Celebrities are really going to have to sharpen up when it comes to their relationships with each other or otherwise we will see them tear each other up mainly over what the bloggers of Ghana write.

Francisca Gawugah known by the stage name Sista Afia, is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter from Accra. She gained recognition following the release of her single “Jeje”, which features dancehall artist Shatta Wale and Afezi Perry. She recently release her first rap song titled ‘WMT’.

In the song, Sister Afia talks about a girl who claims she took her man and then lashes out on the supposed girl in the Ghanaian local dialect. The bloggers quickly run with this as part of the ongoing feud with Ghanaian celebrities Sister Derby and Fella Makafui with the assumption or intent to create tension and claim Sister Afia was throwing shots at Sister Derby.

The rumours spread like wildfire as Sister Afia has a strong relationship with Fella Makafui and her husband Medikal, and many believe she has a tensed relationship with Sister Derby.

Derby then replies by brushing Sister Afia of her shoulders in an instagram interview where she quickly outlines how irrelevant her song was claiming Sister Afia was mocking her own self.

A heated and disturbed Sister Afia was seen the next day on instagram live angry at netizens and bloggers for fueling a fire that she claims didn’t exist. In her instagram post she stated “WMT has nothing to do with any of the girls you guys are tagging and the bloggers are making it look like I’m dissing sister Deborah” etc etc.

It wasn’t long before twerking instagram star Akuapem Poloo joined in the feud that isn’t a feud but it is now a feud because the bloggers made it to be. She took to the net to discredit Sister Afia and Fella Makafui for being envious of Sister Derby. She claims Sister Derby polished Medikal and that is the reason Fella Makafui went for him, and that Fella Makafui bribed Sister Afia to diss Sister Derby. But she also claims she has gist that Sister Afia is sleeping with Medikal. Very messy right?

Just when you thought the doors were closed on the participants and it couldn’t get any messier, we were left with one question? Did anyone call in Wendy Shay? Well, Wendy publishes an image of instagram titling herself as the Queen of Ghana music. In any normal circumstance, this would simply just be Wendy Shay making a statement. But with Ghanaian bloggers, this technically is a shot at Sister Afia who claimed high life queen in the same song.

So now we have Akuapem Poloo, Sister Derby, Fella Makafui, Sister Afia, and Wendy Shay somewhat tangled up in a beef that is not beef but now beef because the bloggers made it a beef.
