51-Year-old Naomi Elaine Campbell is is no stranger to Africa. The British-born, Jamaican heritage, African blooded queen who began her career at the age of 15 broke her ‘travel to west Africa’ virginity when she arrived in Ghana for a photoshoot for Vogue magazine sometime in 2013 as seen below.

The overwhelming support and appreciation set the actress, singer, and businesswoman in frenzy after which rolled a series of visits to west Africa. Some notable moments include her consistent participation in Arise Fashion Week in Nigeria in both 2018 and 2020 as seen below.
Her participation in South Africa’s Condé Nast International Luxury Conference where she was spotted in a lovely video dancing with kids.
Her visit to Senegal with Alicia Keys and not to forget being named the tourism ambassador for Kenya.

Well, if you love to see some more of Naomi Campbell in Africa, the look no further, the iconic runway queen took to her social media to promise an African tour. No dates nor countries were included, but rest assured brothers and sisters in Nigeria would not be missing in.
In a post made last week on 19th April 2022, Naomi Campbell published a throwback picture of herself with the caption “#TBT Missing Lagos, African Tour coming soon … 🦅🖤🇳🇬 📸by @bimpeonakoya #NAOMIAFRICA”
This followed shortly after her grand appearance at the Bafta Awards. Naomi Campbell may not have had the biggest impact on African fashion per se, but she has definitely had a huge contribution to ensuring her followers keep their eyes on the continent.
