Yesterday was a blast! The Glitz Africa Fashion Week team put together a nice pre cocktail party which saw the likes of many sophisticated and funky persons from the fashion industry across Africa. Guests from Mozambique, Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa and more.

The event took place at the Alisa Hotel and was hosted by Elikem Kumordzie the tailor from Big Brother Africa. It was filled with participating models, international designers, foreign guests, and local fashionista.

We caught up with some prominent men from Nigeria who are in Ghana for the Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2013. After covering a beautiful Lagos Fashion And Design Week 2013, as well as all the other happenings in Nigerian fashion, we wanted to know their opinions on Ghanaian fashion and Africa as a whole.

We spoke to Mai Atafo, a very popular Nigerian designer continuiously gaining international accreditation. We also spoke to the legendary CEO of Legendary Gold LTD, Lexy Mojo-Eyes. And also fashion photographer Paul Ukonu, who has risen fairly quickly as a photographer on the Nigerian Scene.
