It will be featuring a host of African designers from across the continent and not to forget some of our local favorites from South Africa such as David Tlale, Thula Sindi, Gavin Rajah and others. The event is taking place in Ghana and already accumulated a storm of great African international designers and still more to confirm. The much-anticipated event is set to be organized by the founder of Nigeria’s Next Super Model and franchiser of FashionTV in Nigeria, Joan Okorodudu. Already confirmed for the show, is a host of models and designers from the West African region soon to be publicized. The event will take place in the capital of Nigeria, Abuja, and is also heavily supported by the Ecowas organization of West African countries. 4/ FIMA – Festival International De La Mode Africaine 2013. 20 – 25 Nov Closing the lineup of international fashion events is FIMA, the event that congregates the francophone sector of the African Fashion world will take place in Niger, Niamey. Also, one of Africa’s most popular fashion events as far as print and the francophone world is concerned. And not just above, but also will be Fashion Weekend Zimbabwe 2013 from the 2nd to the 3rd of November, Sierra Leone Fashion Night Out on November 30, 2013, Carrefou De La Mode 2013 in Mali on the 14th, 15th and 16th of November, and also Vodafone Mozambique Fashion Week 2013 from the 28th of November onwards.
