Hajia4real, aka Mona Faiz Montrage, is the current ambassador for Clux fashion boutique, however, that isn’t stopping her from dawning clothes by other brands and shedding light on it, especially when it comes to her native northern Ghanaian tradition.
Mona gracefully unleashed a series of beautiful editorial images of short video serving traditional smock clothes, but on her beauty, everything looks modern.
But her aim wasn’t simply to flaunt the styles of the north, but also enlighten her followers on the tribe and the outfits. On one image, Mona wrote “Catch a Northern Vibe😉, How do you love my “bin gmaa” 😍😍 Rocking my native” She continues “smock from the motherland. The smock also known as “fugu” is a cultural attire and symbol of culture for the people of Dagbon, Moshie, Kokomba, Mamprusi, Lobi, and Gonja Lands. Various patterns and designs tell unique stories and are worn for varying occasions…..”
Mona to date has about 2million followers, and with instagram’s algorthyms and all, it is very likely she would have atleast enlightened 400,000 people and taught them a thing or two about Ghanaian culture. That is if they were not too distracted by her beauty.
In other posts, the Ghanaian beauty is seen executing a photoshoot by @brilliancemediagh and styled by @the_same_mylarh. See more below.
