The 2016 edition of the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (ASFAs)” held on Friday evening at the Kampala Serena Hotel was by far the biggest fashion event to ever take place in Uganda.

The prestigious awards ceremony under the theme “Dress to Inspire” had a large-sized red carpet on which guests walked upon arrival.

City socialites, entertainers, models and fashion enthusiasts started arriving at the venue as early as 6:00PM dressed to kill and passed via the red carpet before heading to Victoria Hall, where the main occasion was held.

There were music performances from fast-rising Ugandan singer, Ceaserous, Kenyan diva Avril and singer Runtown from Nigeria.

Among the people that attended was BBA Hotshots winner, Idris Sultan (the host), Socialites Judith Heard, Bad Black’s ex-lover David Greenhalgh and his wife Miss Parker Dee, Herbert Shonga and his newly wedded wife Dorothy, Singers Bebe Cool and his wife Zuena Kirema, Jose Chameleone, Desire Luzinda, Voltage Music singers Kent and Flosso, fashionista Kim Swagga to mention but a few.

ChimpLyf’s Alex Alinda was there and he captured some of the moments:
