Ouch! Selena Gomez took a trip on the SAG Awards red carpet while walking in her high heels but she immediately recovered.

When she struggled to walk in her sharp high heels on the red carpet at the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards, she was more sympathetic than ever. According to a video from the event, Selena slipped and tumbled hard that one of her heels had fallen out from under her.

Luckily enough, there was a gentleman who nearby who helped her up from the ground. She quickly took off the other heel and fled the red carpet.

The 29-year-old actress and singer, meanwhile, handled the situation calmly and confidently when she took to the stage to deliver an award alongside Martin Short. She didn’t wear heels on stage during the show because she didn’t want to risk falling again – this time in front many more people.

Selina and Martin presented the evening’s second prize and viewers instantly noted that she was tiptoeing across the platform barefoot. It was until an hour later that the footage of the red-carpet mishap surfaced on the internet revealing further details about the story.

After presenting the award, Selina joined a table with Martin and other castmates of their series Only Murders in the Building for the rest of the awards ceremony.

Even without her shoes working out for her, Selina looked striking in her velvet Oscar de la Renta dress at the performance.
