Something like “not everyone will share your dream, fame doesn’t necessarily translate to success, easier said than done, believe in your craft and let your work do the talking’ are some of the lessons he had taken. He recounted on his own experiences of not stepping into fashion school to learn how to design but started sewing before he could read and write. He hopes to design for ordinary people who’re looking for affordable clothes. He’s made it big in Jahannesburg, regarding the store which is opened, he’s looking forward to make it in Durban as well. In an interview with fashion blogger Sandy Nene, he was heared as saying “in Milan I learnt what the big deal was with “made in Italy” Italy creates, leads and everyone follows”.
Which means that he has had a successful career both locally and internationally. The designer, Sandile Mblambo ended it all with his mother as his favourite icon, he said “I learned lables from her”, after he had given his favourite quote as everything from Coco Chanel.
