Last Year Ayo A Models put together for the first time ever in Ghana a fashion week for a tertiary institution thus Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology, which was a major success with hundreds of people showing up as seen on the video below. What made the KNUST Fashion Week a big development towards fashion in Ghana was the fact that little fashion activities occur in Kumasi, which is Ghana’s 2nd most popular city. Also, Kumasi, the capital of the Kente breeding Ashanti region, has a fast growing market for the fashion business in Ghana. Kumasi is a hot spot for any serious fashionista with a Fashion business to invest in. And currently the concept of fashion in this region is now being championed by KNUST Fashion Week.

This year’s fashion week is in conjunction with the textiles students association and fashionghana.com. Media partners, and sponsors are soon to be revealed.
