Top Cameroonian Model Foje Jencey Wins Miss West Africa Cameroon

She is the face of Numero Uno boutique and was also the winner of Miss Cameroon Regional 2014 for the North West region and scheduled to participate in the finals for Miss Cameroon 2015. Although she later pulled out of the competition for professional reasons.

The model who has had various viral images on the net decided to take part in Miss West Africa Cameroon 2015 and emerged as the winner last night. She and other regional winning queens from other West African countries and abroad are scheduled to compete in Miss West Africa International 2016 in Senegal.

Foje Jency was crowned by Florence Epee and another viral internet face, as the former Miss West Africa Cameroon 2014, and the current Miss West Africa International 2016, bringing the international crown home to Cameroon last year in the International event that took place in Nigeria.

There is usually a stigma professional models hold when it comes to pageantry. Most of them stay away from it. It doesn’t serve well to hold the title of a pro model and enter a pageant and lose to the odd girl. Although, with the still growing status of modelling, pageantry can help in its own way. Nevertheless, Foje Jencey took her chances and will now be strutting around Cameroon with her MWA crown. Good luck to her and all the other ladies for next year.
