There are great people all around the world, even in times of conflict and Diane Graziella Kpefio is one of them. The Fashion designer in the Central African Republic organized a fashion show to promote peace and to encourage people to reconcile after 3 years of conflict.
Diane Graziella Kpefio said even though her motive was to contribute to promote peace in her country, she wants to send a message to the world to know that ordinary people in her country are also making frantic effort to live in peace.
“We wanted to do events like this to show the world that apart from the weapons, there are Central Africans who can do something about it.” Kpefio said
The show saw key players in the fashion industry including Miss Central Africa Republic 2015, a number of models and modeling agents attending.
“Culture is the key to a country, it can open opportunities after this conflict.” Josia Maya, modeling agent said.
The Central African Republic’s presidential election is headed for a runoff vote on January 31, as results showed no clear victory between the candidates. See the video below and images even further.
