Prisca Kimberley is a young girl full of energy and joy from Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast). And like most other girls her dream was to become a successful model. But in 2007 her life will know a tragic turn.

Following a robbery in his house, she fell 3 floors down. She later found herself paralyzed and lost both her legs. Her life followed with continues moments of great sadness and sorrow . But thanks to the support of her family and her friends they have pushed and struggled for her to become model at all costs, Paralyzed or not.

 

With her mother’s help, she created through social networks a large chain of solidarity in order to be known at all and why not achieve her dream. She managed to attract the attention of a television channel which made her story ​​known by the Ivorian public.

On Saturday, November 16, she finally took to the runway of Afrik Fashion Show 8, Ivory Coast’s biggest Fashion event,as a model which she had not done since her tragedy. This was arranged by organizer of Afrik Fashion Show, Isabel Anoh.Prisca on stage, she left the following words for the crowd “through sheer determination and courage , we continue to realize our dream”.
