In 2014, Lupita Nyong’o received her well-deserved Oscar award for best-supporting actress in 12 Years a Slave. She ended her speech with the empowering words “No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.”
It seems those words rang in our ears of the founders of womenswear brand KLOR TSOO OKAI, who decided to finally take the first step into launching their brand.
6 years later, on the 4th of July, 2020 was their 4th anniversary and in a monumental full-circle moment, the brand managed to have their lead inspirational figure @Lupitanyongo dress up an in an outfit by Klor Tsoo Okai of which she featured in a post on her IG story!
The incident marked a highlight in the brands rise to success and they cherished it by posting the moment on their wall. Congrats to the brand and see Lupita’s video below.
