Equatorial Guinea’s top model and representative at the just-ended Miss Universe Alba Obama was welcomed in high spirits upon returning to her country as well as an official meeting with diplomats of her country.
Alba Isabel Obama Moliko is a 21-year-old law student in Equatorial Guinea. She was Miss Supranational Equatorial Guinea in 2019 in which she also won a Supramodel award from Africa.
Alba unfortunately like most of Africa’s reps didn’t cut it into the top 16 of the just-ended international fraudulent pageant, which only saw South Africa’s representative segway into the finals.
However, her country did not see her as anything less of a winner, as they cheered her participation with cultural dancers upon her return. She also happened to be the most published contestant from Africa with lots of national editorials publishing her participation.
According to the beauty “Having to call myself Ecuadorian Guinea is a name that fills me with a lot of honor and makes me have the courage to be able to raise the four colors of our flag high”
But Alba who hails from Mbini, Rio Muni, Equatorial Guinea is not just a pretty face, the queen already carried a lot under her belt. She is the director and a model monitor of the television program “Equatorial Guinea Top Model.”
In June 2019, she competed against 13 other candidates at Miss TNO Guinea Ecuatorial 2019 at Hotel 3 de Agosto in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, and won the title. And went off to represent Equatorial Guinea at Miss Supranational 2019. And in January 2020, she was recognized as the best model of the Salon International du Textile Africain (SITA). In addition to her beauty and professional success, she also speaks Spanish, English, and French.
There’s no wonder why Equatorial Guinea was grateful for the return of such a national asset. Watch the videos below.
