On Sunday, September 20, 2015 The annual event top 10 De La Mode Ivorienne, meaning top 10 of Ivory Coast Fashion, was held Saturday evening at the Golf Hotel in Abidjan Heden. Several and personalities, designers, and creators in the fashion were rewarded.
“Africa is the cradle of fashion and she continues to inspire designers” these were the words (in french) of the godmother of the 6th edition of the Top 10 event, Martine Coffi Studer, former Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, who opened the ceremony.
The night began at 9pm, Abidjan time, and had a few surprises especially when Olivia Yacé beat Awa Sanoko to the Best Female Model 2015. Olivia Yacé is a new model in Cote d’Ivoire from America who has been very active in the recent year.
