Despite consistently rapping for the streets Sarkodie is ready to send a message to the world to prove his wealth is beyond his lyrics, an act emerging from a recent fued between the rapper and dancehall artists Shatta Wale.
The 34 year old hit maker also known as Michael Owusu Addo, is to date Ghana’s most successful rapper and and entrepreneur from Tema. His contributions to the Ghanaian music industry have earned him numerous accolades, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Award for Artiste of the very first winner of BET’s Best International Flow act at the 2019 BET Awards show.
Currently he is at odds with another musical giant in Ghana, Shatta Wale, who also has tonnes of acolades under his belt and recently featured on the song ‘Already’ with Beyonce. Shatta Wale has gone to the extend of publicly ridiculing Sarkodie’s financial status, claiming he is not what he projects himself to be in his songs.
The situation has escalated with very little said on behalf of the rapper, however, he has taking to his instagram page to let it speak for his bank account, and below are videos of which he is convincing Ghanaians with.
