VOTE FOR CHANGE
At the plight of Ghana’s political election, the fashion scene in Ghana is also at a point of social concern. African fashion and style may not have the mass promotion, regulatory bodies, and backing from it’s governments. And yet the concept of wearing fashion from Africa is almost just as hip as wearing designs from some of the biggest designers of today. African fashion is ripe with creativity and filled with extraordinary talents, but lacking organised bodies and entrepreneurialship, mass support and backing from mainstream organisations. The term owhich the Vote For Change Issue focuses on will consist of various articles looking at the characteristics of potentials and set backs of the African fashion industry and what we can do to alternate the situation. Every vote counts. Enjoy
