It was 5 months ago when we fell in love with Shudufhadzo here on FashionGHANA.com when we posted her in a haute bikini clip below, little did we know she would compete for Miss South Africa and win.
After weeks of anticipation The 2020 Miss South-Africa was crowned, Miss Shudufhadzo Musiḓa was given the coveted crown of Miss South-Africa in case you missed it click here and just barely weeks after the pageant Miss Shudufhadzo has gone on to prove to everyone why she deserved that enviable crown as she was recently captured by Top celebrated Photographer Themba Mbuyisa.
The International Relations student and Zozibini Tunzi who was the past 2019 Miss South-Africa is photographed by Themba Mbuyisa wearing an enveloped Hat by Cape Town-based milliner Crystal Birch Red Straw Kiki Bolero, a look that’s offset by bold crimson eye makeup by MUA Ayanda Savvy. It’s a combo that Musida pulls off with aplomb, the poised beauty queen’s graceful presence allowing the scarlet hue of the braided wheat straw hat to take center stage.

Shudufhadzo Musiḓa possess a unique beauty that transcends not only the mainstream perception of beauty but also the commercial perception of black beauty. She is a pure definition of South African beauty when it comes to facial features. Most girls that attend the Miss Universe pageants could not spend a day in the Sun with a bald head. By all means, they will need much decoration to their beauty before being able to obtain their day to day confidence.
Not Shudufhadzo Musiḓa, she doesn’t need makeup, wigs, weave, or a hair cut to get the attention of the world. That alone in itself sets her above whomever she is set to face at Miss Universe. But the reality is two black winners would be a mouthful for a white beauty pageant organization, so whether this will materialize or not is well wishing. Despite that being said we hope to see much more of her in more editorial.
