It’s one thing to receive the wrong order, that is very common in the field of size and maybe sometimes colors. It’s another thing to get it and not able to get your money back, don’t we hate that. It’s even worst to not be able to get your money back and get a rude reply from the vendor or engage in a debate about your product. But lard Geesos! Since when did they start issueing death threats.

See the experience below…..

1st Sign of trouble. The venue is using images they did not create.

Bad Grammar? Another sign.

If the item is in stock, then ask for an images first.

Just going by this experience and as owners of our own online boutique at www.fashionghana.com/shop here are some tips we can share.
1/ Stick to stores that create their own image. Taking professional images from other professional platforms indicate a lack of ability to create.
2/ A well respected business will do everything to provide a great presentation. In this case their page details, greeting on the chat and more.
3/ Ask about refund terms before purchasing.
4/ If it is not a professionally registered business, find the location or identity of the individual before proceeding.

We hope this will guide you in the near future. Let us know your thoughts.

A cringe worthy moment. I couldn’t really understand why the customer demanded her change back? What payment gateway did she use? Why didn’t she pay the exact amount to the buyer? Was she asking for a refund? Was she not happy with the product?

Although, the customer’s communication was on the rude and threatening side, the buyer should have escalated the case by finding out what exactly was wrong, and try to find a solution that works for the customer. The customer is always right. No matter what.

The right payment gateway provide customers better protection. I use Paypal for JANET + GEORGE for example. If there is an issue, and the customer is unable to find a solution via us (unlikely) PayPal would side with the customer.

You are right paypal is best. But you know this was in the same country, usually it operates much easier. Also paypal is not in Ghana.
