This year marks the 5th anniversary of Kumasi Fashion Week. The annual Kumasi Fashion Week has began and it is being held in Kumasi City Mall in Kumasi Ghana, from July 30th to August 1st.

The Kumasi Fashion Week brand which emerged and rebranded from its original title KNUST Fashion Week is produced by Ayo A Ghana. The event works to accentuate cultural elements with the aim to play a major in contemporary fashion.

Kumasi Fashion Week In Motion

The Welcome Party for their foreign guests kicked off with a welcome party hosted by style influencer Cerwah Prempeh on Friday just gone. With much anticipation Day 1, kicked off successfully with designers brands such as Sarah Christian, Juju Fashion, Groomsmen GH, and more.

The event worked to ensure all Covid-19 protocols were set in place and to date, here are some interesting highlights from day one straight off instagram.
