The 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 27) in Los Angeles.

This year’s event was attended by several top Hollywood stars including the cast of our favourite Marvel flick – Black Panther which won the top film award of the night. Lead actresses Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira also won in the “best-dressed category” wearing ensembles no one could ignore.

Danai looked gorgeous in a pristine white Ralph and Russo dress with frothy trimmed feathers. Never one to get it wrong on the red carpet, the star made a strong beauty statement with her natural hair in a neat cut while keeping her makeup simple and flawless.

Lupita has truly mastered the art of dominating the red carpet fashion and her SAG Awards appearance was no different. She wore a stunning but hard-to-pull-off Vera Wangde constructed suit jacket paired with a see-through full-length skirt. The look was a total show stopper, but her vibrant makeup and braided hair stood out the most.
