Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 971 It was a beauty and fashion affair at the West Hills Mall on Sunday as the remaining 14 delegates of the 2015 Miss Malaika Ghana beauty pageant stormed the largest shopping mall in West Africa to showcase their fashion sense. The event which was sponsored by GTP was well attended by fashion bloggers, stylists, fashion designers, models and fans of the delegates. The fashion show this year was made a little more exciting. The delegates dazzled three times in three segments. .The first segment was the beach wear segment, the girls had to show off their curvy bodies in nicely designed bear wear made with GTP Wax Print. The next segment was where the fashion sense of the girls was really tested, the My Wear Segment. The girls were tasked to go to a boutique and in under 6 mins were to style themselves. No fashion consultant, no chaperon, they had to style themselves. They came out in very interesting style choices which said a lot about their personalities. After they showed their fashion sense, they came out and dazzled in gowns that were inspired by celebrities on the red carpet. This was the highlight of the evening as the Ghanaian designers certainly outdid themselves in the way they created red carpet designs with African prints.
