In both the metro and the dailymail their stories clearly outlined that the change in skin pigmentation was due to drugs that the two doctors had taken prior to falling unconscious as their situation got worst. It identifies that one of the side advantages of the drug they took in their earlier treatment was skin darkening as seen below. So if their skin darkening was due to a drug they took to cure themselves of the COVID-19, then why will both the dailymail and the Metro news reword their articles to make us think that the doctors waking up black was a side effect from obtaining the Corona Virus. See below. As a publication, we are fully aware that DailyMail and Metro are both very conscious of the impact of headlines. And that more than 50% of readers will consume the headlines without reading the stories. Especially here in Africa and other non-english speaking countries. It is very common in this day and age of the internet, articles are circulated with the titles fully absorbed even before the participants read them. Their articles have turn viral as you can see in the image above 42,000 shares of the dailymail and even more than that outside of facebook and the public that believes darker skin is a side effect of the Corona Virus. A propaganda tactic that will encourage the mistreatment of darker-skinned people in the wake of a worldwide pandemic. When the reality is that both publications will like for the world not to know jump to the conclusion that these doctors might have been using melanated drugs to cure themselves of the COVID-19 prior to going unconscious. In any case of the darkness is melanin related, then Melanin is not a state you reach because you lose your whiteness. Melanin is ‘not’ the nothing. You do not go from white to dark by losing your whiteness or anything, the nothing is the white pale skin and in order for it to darken, melanin must have been added. Melanin could not be a side effect but only an intentional input to have attempted to cure their virus. Hence why it will help if the doctors reveal the drug they attempted to use to cure the virus. Obviously this kind of information will contradict the mass propaganda that melanin might have somewhat of a combative effect on the contracting of the coronavirus. The unfortunate part is WE have had to engage in various debates with other Africans to prove that our headline is true due to them not reading the full articles of the Dailymail and metro and accepting the perception created by the titles of the dailymail and metro.
