The Business Of Fashion workshops event in Kenya is proving to be very successful and organised on a larger scale in comparison to it’s predecessors in Ghana and Nigeria. In fact, where FAFA, organizers of the Business Of Fashion in Kenya, took the event is probably where organizers in Ghana and Nigeria will probably aim towards in the long run.
Ann McCreath Chair Of FAFA KENYA and Jeremy Ngunze CEO CBA BANK (sponsors of Business Of Fashion Kenya) also signed a partnership agreement at the press conference for the Business Of Fashion workshops at the CBA CENTER, which should sustain the long running event.
The event which was sponsored by CBA Bank has been runnings every Saturday and Sunday since the 3rd of August until the 24th of August. So far saw the likes of various successful business people speak and discuss with up and coming fashionistas, sharing great insights about operating fashion business. A few speakers on there day were Rita Okuthe Head of Marketing at Safaricom Ltd, Sunny Dolat of Chico Leco, Diana Opoti and Emmanuel Jambo.
The next workshops will be held at Riara University off Mbagathi Way sessions start at 9:00am to 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 1:00pm. Professionals(Above 25years)-3000kes. Students and under 25years-1500kes and Teachers- 1500kes . The charges are for both Saturday and Sunday. Tea and snacks will be served with the opportunity to interact with respectable speakers from the likes of Ann McCreath, Patricia Ithau, Dr.Bitange Ndemo etc. Below are some pictures and a video of the first session.
