Gabrielle Union and her husband, Dwyane Wade made it safely to Ghana with their daughter Kavia. This is part of an ongoing tour the three decided to execute in honor of Gabrielle Union’s 50th Birthday celebration.
For those that do not know, Gabrielle Union is an American actress who goes by the full name Gabrielle Monique Union-Wade. Her career began in the 1990s, when she made dozens of appearances on television sitcoms, prior to landing supporting roles in 1999 teen films She’s All That and 10 Things I Hate About You…..and her husband Dwyane Wade is a former NBA star.
Accra, Ghana happens to be their second stop following their trip to Zanzibar, Tanzania. For their first outing in Ghana, Gabrielle and Dwayne, alongside their daughter, Kaavia, were spotted at the enstoolment ceremony of Diallo Sumbry as Nkosuohene (Chief of Development) in Nyame Bekyere, a community between Adawso and Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The stylish celebrity couple was welcomed and given local Ghanaian names by the newly enstooled Nkosuohene of Adawaso, Diallo Sumbry. Gabrielle is now known as Akosua Safo and her husband, Kwesi Safo. Watch a video of their experience below.
