On the 8th of August 2014, Nigerian Designer’s (Theresa Onwuka) fashion brand, ‘Needlepoint’ closed the show at the annual fashion week held in London to showcase established and emerging African designers in the fashion industry; the Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL). The show took place at the Olympia Kensington, London. ‘Needle Point’ showcased its Travel Collection also known as the “Cruise Collection 2014”. The Cruise 2014 Collection is the latest to emerge from Needlepoint. This collection is said to be one of Needle Points most stylish with emphasis placed on the comfort and the versatility of each piece. The collection fuses Linen and Ankara fabrics, accentuated with the ‘Needle Point’ signature embellishment to create a collection designed to be in every woman’s closet.
