On the advent of the American elections in 2016, we thought we would celebrate the 1920’s. In 1920, women were given the right to vote. We opted for white lace clothing to bring forth a modern element to the shoot. The golden glow of the shoes & make-up creates a sleek and sensual but innocent look. We have to remember since women secured the right to vote, women have—time and again—donned white garments as a show of solidarity and as a way to identify historic achievements. Women wore clothing more convenient for activity and stopped wearing long skirts and corsets. So we went for fashion that was fun, flirty and broke barriers. Latenda used virgin brazilian hair extensions which were dyed honey brown to blend with the model’s natural hair colour. See the video below.
