I couldn’t really understand why the customer demanded her change back? What payment gateway did she use? Why didn’t she pay the exact amount to the buyer? Was she asking for a refund? Was she not happy with the product? Although, the customer’s communication was on the rude and threatening side, the buyer should have escalated the case by finding out what exactly was wrong, and try to find a solution that works for the customer. The customer is always right. No matter what. The right payment gateway provide customers better protection. I use Paypal for JANET + GEORGE for example. If there is an issue, and the customer is unable to find a solution via us (unlikely) PayPal would side with the customer.
