In an age where superheroes have dominated social media and the world of cinema, the petty one Black Panther donation served to represent the whole black race is an absolute disgrace. However, DC and Marvel can not be blamed for their minimal contribution to black superheroes.
It is upon African people and the diaspora to take responsibility for bringing our own superheroes to the forefront of our very own eyes, media, and screens. And one creative digital artist is doing just so. Dwayne A Mills is a digital artist who just began his journey by creating amazing superheroes, each of which was dedicated to a country of the Caribbean continent.
Each superhero was professionally crafted with creative uniforms made from their national flags. The amazing artwork was so much loved by the citizens of the Carribeans and comic fanatics and immediately went viral on Facebook, prompting him to create an Instagram page at @Caribbean_Art_Bot Make sure you follow and check out the beauty below. Let’s hope these characters snowball into movies, comics, and cartoons.
