It is almost a decade since we at FashionGHANA began the journey to popularise African print wear and make it global. Before the instagram was popping, before style influencers were taking on challenges, before Vogue and all other international publications began embracing black models and fashion, we took on a journey to bring people the talents of Africa as well as promote African print as the trademark of our fashion and it seems that road never failed us.
Every time it seems print fashion may be losing its popularity, an astonishing brand always intercepts with a stunning collection to prove that theory wrong. And this time the deed was enacting on by a well detailed and sophisticated brand ‘Enagancio’.
Enagancio hosts a range of garments, however, it seems their trademark specialty is in suits. Very similar to that of another Nigerian fashion brand Bubu Blaq.
In a time where women’s rights and equality concerns take the center stage, many women are rising into power in offices and well-paid jobs, and those women need the ability to dress like it, even with the intent to maintain their African prowess. And this is why brands like Enagancio are essential.
According To The Brand
Enagancio outfits capture the essence of a true African woman. Embracing culture, heritage, while celebrating her Authentic African roots of high cultural elegance. These dresses will have you flaunting the African culture in style.

Despite such amazing visuals for the campaign, to date the still campaign images haven’t been released, but not to worry because below are more juicy fantastic looks from their 2020 and 2021 look book images. Enjoy!

Ghana’s leading fashion event Accra Fashion Week is scheduled for 7-11 December 2022 following their 5th-year celebration last year in 2021. Accra Fashion Week is a platform for African designers that can be compared to fashion weeks across the major capitals. It aims to fill the void which sees tremendous creativity and culture across the continent with the absence of an operating fashion infrastructure.
The epic event took place at Ghana Dubai in Accra, and saw models march down the steps from the Kwame Nkrumah Monument whilst being followed by a spotlight, before circulating the central fountains. Memories of the exciting night still give chills as guests revisit the experience on youtube.
However, rest assured that 2022 is going to be even more exciting with greater performances and an upgraded designer collection. FashionGHANA.com is sure to bring you the exclusives we did on www.FashionGHANA.com/TV. All last year’s shows are available to watch on youtube. Designer’s registration is ongoing on the AccraFashionWeek.org website.
