Future Face Africa is Africa’s latest modeling competition. It is set to take place on the 30th of January 2022 at the Eko Hotel & Suits, Lagos, Nigeria.
Not to be confused with Africa’s Next Top Model which was spearheaded by Oluchi and tanked after its second edition. Not to be confused with Face of Africa which hasn’t resurfaced since 2006.
The Future Face of Africa is an exciting new model competition, like the former, it will see girls from in and around the continent take place in a fierce runway competition to identify which country hosts the best fashion beauty of the year. Castings have been executed from the East to the West to the South of Africa as well London and more.
The competition is hosted by one of Nigeria’s leading modeling agencies Beth Model Management founded by Elizabeth Isiorho. The agency has been responsible for discovering international talents such as Mayowa Nicholas and Davidson Obennebo.
Prior to launching the Future Face of Africa, Beth models was the initial franchise owner of the Elite Model Look Nigeria, of which the winners will eventually compete in Elite Model Look which hasn’t had one black winner since its inception. A great reason why we support Beth’s model dropping the franchise and kicking off the Future Face of Africa.
The competition aims to host girls with international capacity for success all whilst opening doors for diversity and inclusivity. Contestants from various countries have not been revealed yet, but expect a range of winners and selected reps from the various nations.
