Ghana: Oil City Fashion Closet Excites Audience with lots of Fashion and Music as well as Art in Takoradi

On Saturday, October 4, Global Ambassador Production (Gap-Huz) presented the Oil City Closet 2014 at the RayBow Hotel in Takoradi. The well-attended ceremony saw the display of amazing collections from budding designers from Takoradi and Accra including Chapter 1 classic, NicoLine, LJ Couture, Mandy’s Exclusive Wear, DRESS UP, Awensem, and House of Mayers. They showcased creations from evening dresses to casuals, swimwear and accessories.

 
The event started with an exhibition of paintings, digital art works and live pencil shades by Paramount Artistry and Quarm The Artist. The runway kicked off with a display of hairstyles by event sponsors Darling Hair before the various designers took turns to show guests their collections. There were also performances from up and coming music artists including Snow B, Skuulboi Xo, Jay Traveller among others. Guests at the event included radio/TV host and singer Jon Germain, actress Salma Munin and Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the MP for Takoradi.

According to Global Ambassador Production, the event aims to boost the fast growing fashion sector of Takoradi and environs. Global Ambassador Production is an event management based in Western region. Its mission is to promote and support Models, Fashion Designers, Musicians and artists within the region.
