We had the great opportunity to have a chat with Ghanaian poet and book writer Nana Aba. The edgy style social media personality who combines her brains with beauty is soon set to release her book titled ‘Stolen Heritage’.
The book “Stolen Heritage,” was birthed from pain during trying times when Nana Aba’s spirit was broken beyond what she assumed was repairable. The main character goes by the name of Asha. According to her, she forged the personality of her heroine, Asha, as an exact replica of the strength she always knew she had but could never seem to keep a strong grasp off.
Nana Aba gave Asha the opportunities to shine through every obstacle she faced and the power to choose her own destiny. She crafted her character to emulate strength.
We had the chance to sit down with the author and discuss her book, and discuss with her black authors, her background, the influence of African culture on the world, and much more. Watch part one of our interview below.
