The just ended NIVEA Accra Fashion Week took place at the Tang Palace Hotel with the aim to make trading in fashion a core aspect of it’s purpose. In support of this was various celebrities from Nana Akua Addo, Ama K Abebrese, Eazzy, Too Sweet Annan, Dandira, Efe Keyz, Moesha, Elikem The Tailor, Gifty, and much more take to the night to be a part of the charity fund raiser.
It was a nights of glitz and glamour as the fashion week made it’s mark as Africa’s prominent fashion ceremony, pulling designers from Nigeria, Angola, UK, USA and more. The edition marked as the Year Of Return focused and bringing foreign talents back to Africa to invest in the continent.
The five day event proved to be very resourceful hosting seminars, runway shows, a Gala night by FashionGHANA.com and as always parties. Models were also granted the opportunity to be placed in a leading Milan agency Brave Models as the organizers invited head scout Giorgio from Italy.
In attendance of the fashion ceremony was the Namibian Embassy, the Angolan Embassy, the Morrocan embassy and more. Many designers launched amazing collections on the night such Afre Anko, Elikem The Tailor, Otiz Seflo from South Africa, Clatural, Signature Fashion House, Akinko Lifestyle, Soraya Da Piedade, Lauren Haute Couture, Mish Mega and more.
