Fafa Diamond is your average plus-size girl from around the way, who recently hopped on Instagram not to long ago. With a waste trainer she is easily a fantasy for men who adore plus-size beauty (and women in some cases).
There is no doubt the young beauty is definitely putting effort to serve some plus-size style girl shots for her followers, with one or two fabulous outfits here and there. But in any such case, the future of this beautiful plus-size beauty rests in one of two directions.
Fafa Diamond, who by no doubt will become an internet sensation, could choose to spring in the direction of being one of these instagrammers who simply flaunts her curves, selling sexy glamour images for no absolute reason (or atleast not in the public’s eye), just going viral with the whole world getting to know she is sexy and handling messages from thirsty men behind the scenes.
Alternative, she can turn her attraction and following into becoming a beacon of top, plus-size fashionistas on social media all whilst hailing from Ghana, Accra. It’s by no doubt she has the ability to do so. Her stunning figure will definitely garner social media attention, all whilst serving looks a large percentage of society can finally relate to.
There is no denying being a plus-size model is very difficult, especially in a world where plus size modeling is size 10 & 12, yes there is a market for plus models, but it’s far from the norm, and most clothes aren’t made in your plus size, and when they are it’s likely it’s might be in alternative plus size measurements. And the difficulty to reach out and obtain your own is a headache beyond usual. All that comes into consideration when working your way up the plus size ladder.
But in all, we hope the best for her in the world of fashion, and with social media the concept of modeling is consistently changing so the future is unknown. See her style images below.
UPCOMING TOP EVENTS!
Ghana’s leading fashion event Accra Fashion Week is scheduled for 7-11 December 2022 following their 5th-year celebration last year in 2021. Accra Fashion Week is a platform for African designers that can be compared to fashion weeks across the major capitals. It aims to fill the void which sees tremendous creativity and culture across the continent with the absence of an operating fashion infrastructure.
The epic event took place at Ghana Dubai in Accra, and saw models march down the steps from the Kwame Nkrumah Monument whilst being followed by a spotlight, before circulating the central fountains. Memories of the exciting night still give chills as guests revisit the experience on youtube.
However, rest assured that 2022 is going to be even more exciting with greater performances and an upgraded designer collection. FashionGHANA.com is sure to bring you the exclusives we did on www.FashionGHANA.com/TV. All last year’s shows are available to watch on youtube. Designer’s registration is ongoing on the AccraFashionWeek.org website.
As we embark on another year of celebrating African culture, our theme for 2022 is “Afrofuturism.” This term was created to explore the developing intersection of cultural aesthetic, philosophy of science, and philosophy of history as it relates to the African Diaspora. During this year’s events, Afrochella will bring “Afrofuturism” to life through fashion, food, art and music. In 2019, the African Diaspora returned home to the continent for the “Year of Return.” This year, we will explore the endless possibilities of what “Afrofuturism” could look like in 2022 and beyond.
