Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has said that his Government would continue to promote the growth and development of industries in the state to ensure well co-ordinate entrepreneurial skills, reduction in the level of youth unemployment, promote self- reliance, self-employment and self-independence of youths in the state. Speaking to Newsmen through his Representative, Hon. Commissioner for commerce and Industry, Hon. Barr. Mrs. Mary Iyasere on February 18th, 2016 at Best western plus Elomaz hotel, Asaba, Delta state as he officially inaugurated the state executive members of The Delta Fashion Designer (DFD). However, the event which Mrs. Oreva Okowa, CEO Signature secret, Founder and National President of Fashion Designers and Exhibitors Association (FADEA) emerged the state Chairman/Convener, of The Delta Fashion Designer (DFD), State Secretary, Mr. Nelly Obi, State Publicity secretary, Mr. Chuks Golden Benye, Director of Project, Mr. Edgar Badasera, Assistant Director of Project, Mr. Uche Benson, and other state administrators across the three senatorial Districts of the state which includes; Mrs Mercy Ibayen- Delta North, Otobo Emmanuel -Delta-South and Asilekwu Sylvester- Delta Central. Also promote Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for the state, to promote employment opportunities and Entrepreneurial skills amongst the youths in the state. Finally, the occasion which also witnessed the hosting DFD by the old students Association of Signature Secret at the Venue by the Convener, Mrs Oreva Okowa for merriment to promote solidarity, oneness, creativity and high standard of Entrepreneurship Development for World Class Exhibitions of Fashion products and parade in the environs.
