The South African jewellery lable, Pichulik has presented it’s SS15 collection in style, “it’s just as lovely as you’d expect”. The Designer is Katherine-Mary Pichulik, “a woman as bold and bright as her pieces, was inspired by North Africa”. She collaborated closely with Kat van Duinen to create the pieces which was actually showcased at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town 2014.
The inspiration behind the collection is very interesting, as she talks about “Baraka” which “is the beneficent force from god that flows through the physical and spiritual spheres as prosperity, protection and happiness.”
Silhouettes encaposulate “white plains of linen; sleek, signature Kat van Duinen cuts; rope detailing, quintessential Pichulik pieces woven and blessed with materials and stoned sourced from African and the Middel East – together these are Baraka”.
This ecletic collection was shot by KOPE|FIGGIN, the clothing was perfectly designed by Kat van Duinen whiles the make-up was nicely done by Nandi Kai, the model was Rolien Zonneveld.
