Popular Nigerian actress Temi Otedola turned heads wearing Eki Kere raffia dress fringe cuff dress a few days ago. The 26 year old beauty is also the spouse of the popular musician Mr Eazi as well as a fashion blogger. She is known for playing the role of Moremi Oluwa in the 2020 film Citation
Designer Eki Kere has been on the role ever since she made her raffia signature dress. Although the designer is not the first to merge raffia with fashion, her raffia cuff shift dress is making tremendous waves online.
The Raffia material is actually extracted from Raffia palms which are a genus of about twenty species of palms native to tropical regions of Africa, especially Madagascar, with one species also occurring in Central and South America. The fiber obtained from the leaves of the raffia palm are used for tying plants and other objects and for making mats, baskets, hats, and in the case clothes.
The actress looked spectacular sporting Éki Kéré’s red raffia dress with a matching raffia bag and strappy heels. She completed the look with shoulder-length, dark red hair we are tempted to try, keeping her makeup minimal, showcasing her gorgeous natural features.
