Valentine’s Day which is celebrated on February 14 is a festival of romantic love and many people give cards, letters, flowers or presents to their spouse or partner. It also falls on the same day as Ghana’s chocolate day, and if we are to be honest, it overshadows it. So it is no surprise that our timelines on social media took on the montage of red and pink rather than brown.

Even in these difficult economic times of political unrest, scammers, and unruly nights, there are always those that will find time to make valentine’s day the love-sharing experience it is known to be. And with that said, there are always those creatives that will bring these visuals to our social media platforms.

The Ghanaian creative world did just about that, from models, photographers, designers, makeup artists, and much more. All got involved in ensuring your timeline flourished with rouge and heart-shaped visuals that could comfort even the lonely and unloved ones. Doing it simply for the love, they took their time to prepare a set of images proving not only do they have talent in their day-to-day edgy and influncer style works, but also in bringing out the beauty in this magical thing we call love.

This year, we take a break from surfing the pages of the awkward Ghanaian celebrities as we tend to find the fashion industry

Make no mistake, the day is far from over yet and some retouchers are still in the works to unleash their magic, but as we have other things to do, here are some of the most appealing Valentine’s day creative work floating the internet.
