The bold move occured during times where going bald is not common for ladies in Ghana, not models in the industry as a whole. As a matter of fact, there is probably only a handful of models worldwide that are bald, and hardly any iconic black that went bald with the exception of Grace Jones who only did so in the latter stages of her career.
