The fashion week facilitates the transfer of industry experience and skills, stimulating collaboration between designers and traditional craft communities. Throughout the years, South African Fashion Week has enabled a lot of partnerships that allow micro fashion design businesses to leverage the export infrastructure of larger textile clothing manufacturers.
