I laughed at what he said but thinking about it deeply i knew i had to scope in for different thoughts about this topic. The idea, it seems, is that women are mostly keeping a man’s opinion in mind when they put on their makeup, style their hair, or wear an attractive outfit. On the other hand some women say, Many women adorn themselves, for themselves and their own amusement. There are clear pressures to be beautiful in a way that could easily be interpreted as catering to the male gaze, which actually have nothing to do with attracting a mate. I personally see dressing or styling as another means of feeling empowered about myself. I remember reading about an article some time ago, it stated that a study has revealed that two thirds of British women cake it on for the opposite sex – while three quarters of men say they actually prefer the more natural look. In fact, almost 40 per cent of men think most women wear too much warpaint. To those who spend all their time and energy on looking extremely sleek for men, If these men we try so hard to dress up for, do manicures, pedicures, weaves, facials, buy new clothes don’t even see the difference and sometimes overlook it, then the question is who then are we dressing for? african womendressing upfashionimpressMakeUpmenWome Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail maame Pr Manager for FashionGHANA.
