As my aesthetic in design evolves, so does my love for the most basic of sewing and finishing techniques. This campaign was shot back in August at the home of the Ansahs. Isha wears no shoes or makeup. In raw form, she carries these pieces which celebrate a very personal elementary era.” #PapaOppong #Fashion #Art #Style #ss19 #Africa #Ghana #OOTD A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 12, 2018 at 5:33am PST View this post on Instagram Papa Oppong SS19 Campaign Shot by: @accrastudioslive Model: @napari_isha “The only thing I cared about was the closing bell. That meant I had about 40mins to play jump rope or ampe depending on the snack break outcome of either games. Sometimes we would spot the driver looking for us in the haze of school kids and make him wait a bit…these games were worth a few knocks…Maybe that’s why I never really got math.” ? #PapaOppong #Art #Style #Fashion #OOTD #SS19 #Africa #Ghana A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 13, 2018 at 5:20am PST View this post on Instagram Papa Oppong SS19 Campaign Shot by: @accrastudioslive Model: @napari_isha •Mpanyinsem• “We were in such a hurry to grow up…look at me popping my zits before major events now…laughable. At play, we would pretend to be mummy and daddy. We did all sorts of crazy things…our culinary skills were to die for as well…have you ever had rice made of mud? Or a Mercedes fashioned out of tin cans? I have…it’s the shit!” #PapaOppong #Style #Art #SS19 #Ghana #Africa #OOTD #Childhood A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 14, 2018 at 4:30am PST View this post on Instagram Papa Oppong SS19 Campaign Shot by: @accrastudioslive Model: @napari_isha “I never liked it when my mum would wake me up at 6am on Sundays for church. Church slowly started to feel more like a chore than anything else…I just wanted to clear it off my to-do list. I prefer the peace and quiet of my room and I can talk to God anywhere…Touché” #PapaOppong #Art #style #SS19 #Africa #Ghana #OOTD #Fashion A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 15, 2018 at 6:06am PST View this post on Instagram Papa Oppong SS19 Campaign Shot by: @accrastudioslive Model: @napari_isha “We always travelled in huge packs. The summer holiday trips to the USA in the late 90s were my favorite. Aunty Debbie is the sweetest. Sometimes we would move around as far as from Maryland to Connecticut…If you ever hear Uncle Kofi shout “Tourist Board!” to my mama, this is why” #PapaOppong #Art #Style #Fashion #OOTD #SS19 #africa #Ghana A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 16, 2018 at 6:43am PST View this post on Instagram Papa Oppong SS19 Campaign Shot by: @accrastudioslive Model: @napari_isha “Just before she left the house to the airport, we would give her cut-outs of our shoe sizes… like literally place our feet on papers and draw out our “shoe sizes”…now the long wait for mummy to be back with our shoes!!!… fast forward to when she returned, usually getting back with late flights. We would be asleep by the time she got in…in the mornings we would be the first to wake her jet-lagged self up…it’s not that we didn’t miss her, we did. We just really wanted to see the shoes she got us from wherever she had been…I wonder where those cut outs went to die…” #PapaOppong #Art #style #africa #ghana #ootd #SS19 #fashion A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 17, 2018 at 6:12am PST View this post on Instagram Papa Oppong SS19 Campaign Shot By: @accrastudioslive Model: @napari_isha “My dad listened to a lot of 2Pac. Mum’s first car(from memory) was an Opel Astra. I went to Alpha-Beta. Aunt Stella studied in Cuba – her Spanish is impeccable. Michael is the best big brother ever. Nana likes soccer. Naomi and I have the best laughs. None of us would be here without Nana Maggie and Nana D.O… I create and then I cry” ✨? #PapaOppong #Art #style #fashion #africa #ghana #SS19 A post shared by Papa Oppong (@papaoppong) on Nov 18, 2018 at 5:51am PST View this post on Instagram “The Maggot Hugger” The Boy Likes Ribbons Papa Oppong SS19 “This week, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite pieces from the SS19 Lookbook.
