Accra Fashion Week closed its 5th Year Anniversary with a bang thanks to its partnership with PayPecker. The fashion week took place from the 9th to the 12th of December 2021, beginning with a welcome party on the 9th of December 2021, A seminar on the 10th, and completing the journey with two days back to back and fashion runway shows and the face of Accra Fashion Week model competition.
There is no doubt Accra Fashion Week 2021 made its hallmark this year as the best attended and most organized fashion event of 2021 in Ghana all whilst adding another accolade to our title as the world’s most popular fashion week online.
This year’s PayPecker Accra Fashion Week has placed another historical achievement on the world fashion map after discovering our website hits of AccraFashionWeek.org according to Alexa.com and WebsiteOutlook.com surpassed that of LondonFashionWeek.com and NYFW.com which prior to 2021 even at their peak in September, placing Accra Fashion Week as the most popular fashion week online.
We are not taking this as a claim that Accra Fashion Week is particularly more advanced than the above, nor as we claiming that Alexa.com and WebsiteOutlook.com’s ranking is absolutely perfect. There are various actions one can take to excel in such rankings, however, to achieve a higher ranking than the two with no particular intent to do so and becoming the world’s most popular fashion week online is definitely a win for Ghana and Africa and an indication that Accra Fashion Week is sitting on a gold mine.
Let’s break down the excitement missed at the one and only PayPecker sponsored event. The full list of designers that lit up the runway for the 5th Anniversary of the Paypekcer Accra Fashion Week goes as follows.
